Beautiful, Obscure and Made of Wool.
In my research for this next design for one of our jumpers I stumbled upon this lovely little film from 1988 featuring the character opposite. It’s called ‘My Neighbour Totoro’ and is a 1988 Japanese animated fantasy.
As I pitch my head slightly, to hear the shouts from my adoring knitter friends as they collectively ask, ‘where have you been?’ I shall smile and humbly accept my, ‘Lateness to the Party’ and continue to marvel at the diversity of ideas and creativity that pours in from the knitted woolly wearers out there. And with that say thanks to our beloved customer, who ordered this design of the friendly wood spirit Totoro, thus giving me rise to put it on my blog and include for you guys and gals
I hope it in some ways inspires you to get in touch with your ideas for your own designs, to showcase a childhood worth remembering.
